Kindness

If you are like me there are times when you watch the news, read the paper, listen to people talking about “what’s going on in the world” and get very sad and discouraged. We are, without a doubt, in a strange and peculiar time in our country. In the midst of dealing with all these strange times I find my mind going back to one particular subject. There is some learning and skills inbeing able to see these signs. When I finally got to the house, there was tea, a mug, some snacks for me to settle with.   After I told that story the next day, when I was met with a muffin…

The sun is shining…..following rain, lots of it; rain that caused flooding and destruction to the Carolinas and Virginia, rain that caused people to have to evacuate, that caused vacations and lives to be put on hold, and lives that were lost,   wind,  strong wind, that came with that rain…… But today the Sun is shining!   Last night I saw a full rainbow, God’s promise.  Two nights ago, the sky was aflame with color.    God never leaves us… in times,…
