Greetings!
The summer has flown by, and a new choir season is about to begin. Calling all musicians, we’re looking for anyone willing to be a member of a choir.
The first handbell rehearsal will take place on Sunday, September 8, from 9:40 A.M. until 10:15 A.M. in the room where Weight Watchers meets. The first rehearsal for the vocal choir will be on Sunday, September 15, from 9:40 A.M. until 10:15 A.M. in the sanctuary. The first choral anthem will be “The Gift of Love.” Copies of the anthem will be available beginning on Sunday, August 18. It’s a two-part anthem and most likely will not take long to prepare.
I plan to have a complete practice schedule for the remainder of this year to you by August 25th. To accomplish that task, I am asking for your help. If there are any Sundays that you will NOT be available for a rehearsal or performance, kindly let me know by Monday, August 19. I know that life happens, and your availability may change from time to time. I will attempt to arrange rehearsals taking your commitments into consideration.
If you know someone who might be interested in joining a choir, please feel free to invite them.
