Being the Body of Christ
Each person in the church has their own role to play. The Creator created us to live in community and we are called to live and work with each other. If one parts hurt, every part is involved in the hurt, and in the healing. Life is born of sharing, how do we do our part?
When We Grow Weary of Doing Good?
Find your peace in God’s time when life makes you weary.
Whose Glory?
What you have doesn’t make you worthy, even each breath you take is a gift from God. Our accomplishments aren’t bad, but it isn’t about us.
The More You Know
To know God is about more than just reading the Bible from cover to cover. It is to recognize God moving in your life. A deepening relationship with God will move us to a deeper relationship with those around us. We are called to stand up, the injustice can’t be allowed to stand, it will not hold water.
It is Good to Be Seen
Jesus calls us to see those who aren’t seen by community. What child of God have we not responded to today? How can we welcome them and, in the process, make ourselves whole?
It is Time to Pivot
Life may seem to get away from us, but God offers opportunity to see and do something different, the Divine ambush.
With What Do we Fill our Barns?
God has provided us with what we need. Rather than looking for more stuff, we should fill our lives with God, not self.
Re-membering Ourselves
Remember ourselves as part of the body of Christ. We are the hands, feet and tongues of God on Earth.
Are we there Yet?
As we wait to arrive, as we wait for troubles to pass, remember, we are in God’s presence. We have arrived.
