Come join us for our year long bicentennial celebration! We will be having a multitude of activities throughout this next year, starting in October and culminating in October 2016. Watch for activities, dates and times in future newsletters, on our web site, blog, Facebook, and Twitter.
Our kick-off celebration event will be on October 25th. On this special day we will be hosting Rev. Phil Hart, the Conference Minister of the Ohio Conference, at our worship service. Later that day, we will have a hayride and bonfire at Barb and Chris Claypool’s home. There will be games and activities for the whole family starting at 3:00 with a potluck at 5:00. The bicentennial committee will be providing hotdogs and the Claypool’s will provide hot dog sticks for roasting. We will end our evening with vespers at 6:30. Please bring your dish to share, lawn chairs, and dress to be outside. If the weather is inclement, the Claypool’s have a garage we will be able to use.
On November 22, we will be starting our movie series – “Movies Through the Years.” Movies will be featured from different time periods. We will meet to watch, possibly share a meal, or at least popcorn, and discuss movies from different eras. Watch for further details as plans develop.
We still need those pictures! If you have any pictures of any activities, including Christmas activities, weddings, baptisms, and confirmations we will take them. Don’t worry, you will get them back! We will be scanning and returning them to you. Make sure you put your name on the envelope or container!
