Don’t forget, Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend.  Set your clock back one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night and enjoy the extra hour of sleep.  There is no excuse for being late to church this Sunday morning.

87th(ish) Chicken Noodle Dinner

It is that time of year again!!   Since at least 1926, we’ve been serving up delicious chicken noodles, divine cole slaw, taste-bud tingling mashed potatoes and sweet-tooth satisfying desserts on a Saturday (usually the first) in November. This year the date is Saturday, November 2, 4:30 – 7:30 pm. Although the prices have risen since 1926 (when just the chicken, noodles, slaw and potatoes cost 50 cents) at least we now include dessert. Take-out or dine-in. As has been the…
