Facing the Truth
Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced. Jesus is the Word. Jesus is the Truth. God’s Truth is Good News. Jesus leads in a way that we can begin to understand. It is going to get hard. We need the help and it is there if we ask. We are the possible.
Scattered and Gathered
God scattered those who wanted to create a name for themselves, but God calls us to unite in loving God’s people. “And they’ll know we are Christian by our love”
Is It Christian?
Some Christians make it hard to be Christian. Today, we are challenged to love each other, don’t hate, make room for others. Thanks be to God for Izzy, Luke, and Owen.
One of Us
All of us are welcomed into the church. A miracle can happen when we move out of our comfort zone. We know how to divide, the miracle is when we choose to bring together.
Jesus is Risen From the Dead
We should spend less time talking about the resurrection and more time being the resurrection. Do you want to live?
Palm Sunday
Like those who celebrated Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem. We find ourselves in the middle, but God will lead us.
When we are Lost … When we are Found
We can become so lost we don’t recognize the path back. Sin is a disturbance between us and God, but remember you are a beloved child of God. God will always celebrate when we are found, let us join in that celebration.
Stranger or neighbor
How do we recognize that everyone in our community is our neighbor? Everyone deserves our love. Everyone receives God’s love.
With All Your Heart, Love
If we don’t transform hate, we will transmit it. Human beings are not the enemy. The enemy is the violence and injustice inside us all.
We Can’t Look Away
God calls us to welcome the immigrant, the refugee. Jesus was an undocumented refugee as a child. We cannot look away.
