Repent or Perish
Change your heart and your life to bring the new reality of life and justice you seek. Failing to do this is like death. Get to work, the good news is that there is still time.
God Provides All We Need
When we have struggled or thought the world was against us, the promises of God continue to spill over. God is always here, grace can show up in the blink of an eye.
Why Do We Worship?
Beware of doing justice in order to be seen. We worship to give God the glory for the grace we have been given. We do it because of who God is.
A Third Way
Witness the humanity even in those who make our lives difficult.
God Favors the Poor
“You can’t always get what you want … but sometimes you get what you need.”
Catch of the Day
Faith is about trust that God is good and God’s goodness is abundant. Putting faith into action can change people’s lives.
Expectations Unmet
Jesus doesn’t meet our expectations, he tells us that our privilege gets in the way of actually hearing what he is teaching us.
Living Out God’s Vision
How did Jesus live out God’s vision? How will we?
When We Get Together… We Bring and Receive all the Gifts of God
Shalom. We are each given gifts from God for the common good. Will you say “Yes!” to the gifts God has given to you?
When We Get Together… God is with Us
Fear can cause the message of God’s Love and Peace to be lost. Yet, God is with us, so we do not need to be afraid. God loves us.
