Exhausted and Overworked
Community takes work and can be overwhelming, but God is always present.
Only What Is Good For Building
Let us tell only the truth.
Sibling Rivalry
Jesus says, “I am the bread of life.” If we can set aside our rivalries and follow Jesus, we will receive all that we need. Let us be the breath of life to others.
Be Still
In the midst of all the busy-ness of the world. God is present if we give ourselves the opportunity to slow down and listen.
The Lord’s Supper
When you eat meals together you are with others. Jesus is with Judas, with Peter, with us. Let us join together and form a more loving world.
Accepting Gifts
God places gifts in front of us if we will just open our eyes.
Who has shown you love?
There are those right in front of you who have shown God’s love without condition. Have you experienced it? The little things can make all the difference.
Seek Justice
God calls us to live our faith publicly. Social justice is the word of God. Shame, sin, and guilt are powerful, but we need to overcome them and proclaim justice. Send us.
The Greatest of These is Love
The church is not patient or kind, but we need to strive to be. We are not defined by any one thing. We need to find ways to connect. Love changes everything. Love changes us.
Why Do You Look for the Living Among the Dead?
We are hanging on to hope and then we find the tomb empty. We are looking in the wrong place. Jesus has left the building. At the empty tomb, we experience awe. Now we need to go back out into the world, too.
