Let Justice Roll
Hate evil! Love good! Have compassion for everyone we meet. Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an everflowing stream. A song of peace for their land and for mine.
The Dance of The Ages
We are part of a long line of people of faith who followed Christ. Through Jesus, God showed us how to be human. They demonstrated a love that shows up. We reorient our living to reflect the best of those who came before us.
Stewardship
Is it a miracle or is it sharing? The community came together an no one went hungry. The sharing is the miracle. The steward must use the resources as God wishes, not as they themselves may wish.
The Body of Christ When our World is in Chaos
Chaos can be beautiful or confusing or dangerous. How do we, the body of Christ, tend to one another amidst chaos? We are called to keep the community save and tell the story.
Building Together
After any adversity, rebuilding is possible if God’s people work together. Let’s start building. We are the Body of Christ.
Whose Glory?
What you have doesn’t make you worthy, even each breath you take is a gift from God. Our accomplishments aren’t bad, but it isn’t about us.
The More You Know
To know God is about more than just reading the Bible from cover to cover. It is to recognize God moving in your life. A deepening relationship with God will move us to a deeper relationship with those around us. We are called to stand up, the injustice can’t be allowed to stand, it will not hold water.
It is Good to Be Seen
Jesus calls us to see those who aren’t seen by community. What child of God have we not responded to today? How can we welcome them and, in the process, make ourselves whole?
It is Time to Pivot
Life may seem to get away from us, but God offers opportunity to see and do something different, the Divine ambush.
Keep the Faith
The cross is a symbol of power and a tool of persecution. Different perspectives. Life can be exhausting.
