Just a reminder that there are a number of special events coming up over the next couple of weeks:
- 3 Feb –
- Pancake Breakfast. At 9:00AM, the youth will host a pancake breakfast with the proceeds going toward the trips this summer (Heifer and the National Youth Event).
- Women in Worship Sunday. The women of Grace Church will do the entire worship service.
- Souper Bowl of Caring. The culmination of our soup drive competition with the Baltimore churches, bring your cans of soup to church.
- 6 Feb – Ash Wednesday service. At 7:00PM, this will also serve as the beginning of the Lenten “Journey of Stones” series on Wednesday evenings.
- 9 Feb – Meet the Candidate. A dinner at 6:30PM will be your opportunity to meet the candidate to be our new Pastor in a more relaxed social setting.
- 10 Feb –
- Trial Sermon . Our candidate, the Rev. Ruth K. Farrell, will preach at the 10:30 worship service. There will be no Sunday School this morning so the children and youth can also hear Rev. Farrell preach.
- Congregational Meeting. After worship, we will hold a congregational meeting.
- Pictorial Directory. Your last(?) chance to get your picture taken for the new pictorial directory.
- 15-16 Feb – A Fast That Lasts. 30 hour famine lock-in with the youth from Trinity UCC and St. Michael’s UCC to raise awareness of hunger in the community, around the nation, and around the world. Call the church to make a pledge.
