Every year since about 1926, Grace UCC has been serving up delicious homemade noodles, chicken, cole slaw, mashed potatoes, and desserts on the (usually) first Saturday in November. This year is no exception. Folks have been busy making noodles,
pickin’ chicken, making cole slaw, and baking cakes, so come out this Saturday (yes, a few short days from now) and join us for fun, fellowship, and to raise some funds (I believe that Women’s Guild gives most of this to our capital fund). The dinner runs from 4:00-7:00 PM. Tickets are $9 (a slight price increase since 1926, but still a bargain), $5 for children 9 and under, those waiting to be seated will, as usual (barring technical difficulties), be able to watch football.
The last few years, we’ve done as much or more carry out business as sit down, so the wait is generally not too long, you should easily be home in time for the Ohio State game against Minnesota (which doesn’t start until 8:00 PM). We hope to see you there.
