It is that time of year again. The time when we need to re-enroll our Kroger Plus cards in the Community rewards program. The Kroger Community Rewards program is a way to raise money simply by using your Kroger Plus card when you buy groceries. 100% of the money the church receives through this program goes back out to help those in need in our community. In the past, the Christian Service board has given the money to Maywood Mission as part of our ongoing support of the work they do in Lancaster and Fairfield County. To re-enroll (or enroll for the first time if you haven’t been helping us out before), go to http://www.krogercommunityrewards.com/. You need to login (or create an account if this is your first time), click on the “View your rewards details” button, then scroll to the bottom of the page. If you are already enrolled this should already show Grace United Church of Christ, a date in 2017 when you last signed up, and the amount that your purchases raised for Grace United Church of Christ last quarter. You can click edit, then search for 80391, (that is the number that Kroger has assigned to Grace United Church of Christ, Lancaster). Next, click the little button next to the name of the church. Finally, click the enroll button and you are all done. The next time you shop at Kroger and use your Plus card you should see a notation at the bottom of your receipt that your purchase went to support Grace United Church of Christ.
