If you were previously enrolled in the Kroger Community Rewards program, you may have gotten an e-mail in the last week or so, reminding you that it was time to re-enroll. The Kroger Community Rewards program is a way to raise money simply by using your Kroger Plus card when you buy groceries. 100% of the money the church receives through this program goes back out to help those in need in our community. In the past, the Christian Service board has given the money to Maywood Mission as part of our ongoing support of the work they do in Lancaster and Fairfield County. To re-enroll (or enroll for the first time if you haven’t been helping us out before), go to http://www.krogercommunityrewards.com/. You need to login (or create an account if this is your first time) and search for “Grace United Church of Christ” (not Grace UCC, you need to spell it out as I found out several years ago the first time I registered), we obviously will be the one in Lancaster (number 80391). Click the enroll button and you are all done. The next time you shop at Kroger and use your Plus card you should see a notation at the bottom of your receipt that your purchase went to support Grace United Church of Christ.
