[Womens-guild] Next Meeting 10/23/25

According to our original church constitution Womens Guild, Mens
Brotherhood, and Youth fellowship; are fellowship organizations and
operate under their own organizational structures. They are required
to have 1 rep to monthly council meeting. They are not a part of the
church budget, but collect/distribute funds as approved by the group.
That being said we can proudly say we are being good stewards of our
current treasury. This year we have given $25 to Lighthouse 1st qtr,
$25 to Habitat 2nd qtr, and $500 to Harcum House after their flooding
issues. We agreed the 3rd qtr gift would be $25 gas card to Pastor
Keith, Jack will be collecting money for gift cards this month. I
spoke with Pastor Keith and he does not need a gas card at this time,
but in talking with Jack the Lighthouse does need gas cards. I would
like the committee to approve that we buy one $25 for this purpose.
On Sunday Jack presented a list of cleaning supplies needed by the
Lighthouse, I asked if we could donate as opposed to shopping for
these items and he said yes, I would like you to approve that we
donate $100 for these supplies at our next meeting.
I know it seems like we are giving alot to just the Lighthouse, but we
are a group of privileged women, who have never experienced anything
like what these women go through, and we have the means and
opportunity to help them.
Our next meeting will be 10/23/25, at Provisions downtown on Main St.
at 12:30. Please let me know how many will be attending.
