Attendees: Joyce H., Sherry J., Sue Z., Nancy A., Joyce L.
Read 2024 Annual Report and Treasurers Report/ submitted
Discussion held on how bare the alter looks, suggested purchase of
live/artificial plants to be placed on the wooed shelves, all agreed
would add to the look. Questioned why Candelabras were removed and are
they coming back? Their storage in the sacristy is an issue and if not
going back on the alter they need to be relocated to another closet.
The last recommendation is to hang the seasonal banners, if we were
able to hang the advent ones without interfering with the broadcast we
should be able to continue hanging seasonal ones. Need to include and
get Pastor Keith input before any changes are made.
Discussion then led to WG helping Worship Board sort thru the closet
to review it's total contents. It was agreed that the next WG meeting
will be held at the church for this purpose.
It was also agreed that WG take over the inventory of the church
kitchen, providing paper products and other supplies for Pot Lucks and
other activities, starting at the next meeting. It was not determined
if these purchases would come out of WG treasury TBD.
Reported that the history books we had printed had multiple
duplicates inside, Joyce L. took responsibility for not asking for a
preview before printing. Joyce H. suggested we repair 1 book correctly
for storage in the history closet. It was needless to say
embarrassing.
Joyce H. asked if anyone would be interested in taking over for
Treasurer for the group and also for counting the offering weekly.
Next meeting 2/27/25 12:00 Order Pizza, Clean cabinets (mouse
droppings), count paper products, work with Worship board on closet
sorting.
