To our Grace Church family and friends


Last week we finally were able to gather back in the sanctuary. We thank
all those who attended for following all of our reopening protocols. We
hope you enjoyed gathering for worship. We will again be holding the
service in the sanctuary this week and hope that will continue. We will
also continue to live stream the service and record it for sharing on our
Facebook page and website. The safety protocols make it possible for us to
reopen.


PLEASE BE ADVISED: During the week, we were informed that one person in
attendance at the service last Sunday had been in direct contact with a
person who tested positive for Covid. The testing took place during the
week, and the person in attendance had no symptoms last Sunday and had no
idea they had been in contact with anyone associated with the virus. We are
not sure of the extent of the risk at this level of contact, but we do feel
that the safety protocols we followed last week should minimize the risk of
any harmful contact. That is the reason we designed the safety protocols.
However, we do want to make you aware that the contact did occur. Every
Sunday, we will face the same risk. Most people have no way of knowing if
they have come into contact with someone who has the virus and is
asymptomatic. Our safety precautions are designed to minimize risk, but we
can never totally eliminate it. We will continue our sanctuary services. We
will continue to take all necessary steps to protect you, and with your
cooperation, we pray we can carry on safely.


USE YOUR JUDGMENT ….If you feel safe with the current set up, we look
forward to seeing you on Sunday. If you have concerns, please stay home and
join us for the live stream service or the recorded service. We gather with
God in many ways. Be safe.
