Grace Church Family and Friends,
Sunday November 1 will be a special service for Grace. Our annual Service
of remembrance will be held at 10:30 AM. We will also be welcoming a group
of teachers from the Fairfield Strings to perform special music. Because
our county is still at the Orange COVID warning level, we will be going
ahead with a sanctuary service. We will be streaming the service using
Facebook and Zoom as we have for many weeks. Our COVID protocols have been
in operation for several weeks, and we will continue to strictly adhere to
these policies for those who attend. Masks must be worn and social
distancing will be used to protect all in attendance.
*PLEASE BE ADVISED:* During this past week, the church office was informed
that a person who attended last week's service is currently being
quarantined because that person had contact with someone who tested
positive for COVID. The individual who attended had not tested positive
when we were notified. In these situations, we simply need to inform you
that the situation occurred. We hope that our safety protocols are
sufficient to protect all who attend the sanctuary service.
Due to the rapid spread of the virus in recent weeks, we are not sure how
long we can continue to offer the sanctuary service. Council reviews the
decision each week. We urge all of you to carefully consider the risks of
attending the sanctuary service. We know that this week's service is of
great importance to so many. We ask each of you to think of your health and
safety in making your decision regarding attending the service.
We will remember all those we have lost over this very difficult year.
Additionally, we will be recognizing all those born during the past year.
Whether you are able to be there in person or not, know that all the names
will be lifted in honor of their gifts to our lives.
If you have someone you wish us to honor or if there was a birth you want
recognized, and you have not yet contacted the church, please email
Jack Patterson jackandterrip at gmail.com or
Pastor Keith pastor at graceucclancaster.org <pastor at graceucc.org>
with a name and a brief message
Join us in person or using social media, but in either case, lift the
memories of all those we have lost and lift up the hope of new life given
in 2020 by remembering them in your prayers on this special Sunday.
Blessings to you all.
