<p style="margin-bottom:0in"><font size="4">Dear Friends and Family of
Grace Church,</font></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in"><br>
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in"><font size="4">Due to the continuing
spread of the Covid-19 virus, church council has decided that we will
only be conducting Sunday worship services online for the foreseeable
future. Things continue to get worse instead of better. Our hope is
that we will be able to return to our sanctuary service in the new
year if the spread of the virus subsides. </font>
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in"><br>
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in"><font size="4">This obviously has many
implications for the traditional operation of the church over Advent
and Christmas. Initially, we have our traditional Advent wreath
making, the Christmas Pageant, and the Birthday Party for Jesus.
All of these activities will probably need to be canceled as such
gatherings present a great risk. Additionally our Christmas Eve
services will probably not be held in a traditional fashion. We are
reviewing options to offer the Christmas Eve service online. We will
keep you posted on all these events using the email newsfeed and
DialMyCalls. Information and updates will also be posted on our
website, our Facebook page and Twitter. We pray that some miracle
might occur to enable us to go ahead with tradition, but being
realistic, this year we will have to use creative alternatives. (see
Advent Wreath item in the newsletter!)</font></p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0in"><font size="4">Finally, we have a
congregational meeting on December 6 after worship to approve the
budget and council and board positions for 2021. We will be having
this meeting using Zoom, following the same login procedure as for
the worship service. We know that many do not feel comfortable using
this or do not have the necessary access. To offer all the
opportunity to participate in the vote, we are including in this
newsletter a copy of the proposed budget and a nominated slate of
officers and board members. Also included is a ballot to vote for or
against each proposal. If you cannot attend the Zoom meeting, we ask
that you submit your votes to the church office, either in person or
by mail, by December 10. The names of the person(s) submitting
ballots must be listed on an envelop or note accompanying the
ballot(s) so that we can confirm the ballots have been submitted by
members. Names will not be on the ballot. </font>

and we are doing our best to continue the work of the church for our
church family. If you have any questions regarding any of this,
please contact Jack Patterson 740-653-5750 or email
