        pledges – In these difficult times, we are making every effort to
        continue serving our congregation and community.  Additionally, we
        are maintaining the buildings and grounds.  Our operating expenses
        have been kept very low during the crisis, but monthly expenses do
        exist.  We know that for some, it is impossible to maintain pledges
        due to financial hardship.  May God's blessings be with you and see
        you through these difficult times. For those of you who have been
        able to meet your pledges, we thank you for continuing to support
        the church.  If you can send in a pledge, the mail is picked up
        regularly and donations are recorded and deposits made regularly.

        able to re-engage in the regular sanctuary service, we will be
        asking participants to wear masks.  We would like to be able to
        supply masks for any who do not have one.  Would you be willing to
        make masks?  Do you have masks you could donate?  Do you know of a
        supplier who could sell us masks? Contact Jack Patterson.  Thanks</font></p>
        </li><li><p style="margin-bottom:0in"><font size="4">Do you have
        suggestions on ways to reach members of the congregation who are not
        online?  Let us know.  Have you been reaching out to members and
        friends? God bless you for maintaining contact with friends and our
        church family.</font></p>
        </li><li><p style="margin-bottom:0in"><font size="4">Do you have
        suggestions on how to make the church a safer place when we are able
        to return, ideas that go beyond the recommended protocols?  Let us
        know.</font></p>
        </li><li><p style="margin-bottom:0in"><font size="4">Ordering gift cards –
        I know not much shopping is going on, but our gift card fundraiser
        may come in handy for people who are ordering online.  I actually
        did an online order and used one of our cards.  In any case, an
        order form is enclosed.  Will pick up the orders at the May 10
        service, and I will contact you on how you would like the cards to
        be delivered after the 17^th.  All profits go to Maywood
        Mission.</font></p>
